Container Procedures and Costs

Container Cancellation Policy

All container cancellations require a 24-hour notice. Failure to notify on time will result in incurring the full container unloading charge.

Delivery Slot Booking & Policies

For container deliveries, Bezos will offer 2 delivery time slots – 9 am and 12 pm – with a 90-minute grace period for each slot. If the container is more than 90 mins late, a late delivery fee will incur at £75 per hour.

There are of course cut-off times for delivery slot bookings, whereby the container will no longer be accepted and the team will have to refuse it.
- For 9am bookings, the cut-off time is 1pm, i.e. the container must arrive before 1pm
- For 12pm bookings, the cut-off time is 2.30pm, i.e. the container must arrive before 2.30pm

If the container isn't delivered by the cut-off time, the full container unloading charge will be incurred and you will need to request a new delivery slot.

Late Container Policy

No container, regardless of size, will be accepted after 2.30pm, aligning with the warehouse's working hours, ensuring sufficient unloading time.

Revised Container Unloading Policy

Starting from January 1st, 2024, container charges will exclusively cover the unloading and physical count of external quantities (number of outer cartons instead of individual units) aligned with the ASN. You can request further stock checks and this will fall under our Premium Goods In service, charged at an hourly rate.
