How to Reprocess Orders OnBackOrder status

Description:

The order status “Onbackorder” in the Bezos system means that there is not enough stock to fulfil an order. When this happens, we will proactively reach out to you by email, please check your spam folder just in case. 

There are 4 actions that you can choose from for Onbackorder orders:
  1. Cancel the order
  2. Remove the product that is out of stock and reprocess the order
  3. Replace the product that is out of stock with another product that is in stock
  4. Send more stock to the warehouse and once the stock is booked in, the order will reprocess automatically
1. Cancel the order
  1. Go to this link to find out how to cancel an order in the Seller Portal step by step

2. Remove the product that is out of stock and reprocess the order
  1. Go into the “Orders” section located on your left panel
  2. Click on the order and a new view will appear, then click on "Edit" order on your top right.
  3. Click on the icon "Delete" to remove the product that is OnBackOrder (image below).
  4.  CLICK "SAVE" to make sure the order gets re-process.

3. Replace the product that is out of stock with another product that is in stock
  1. Go into the “Orders” section located on your left panel
  2. Click on the order and a new view will appear, then click on "Edit" order on your top right.
  3. Click on the icon "Delete" to remove the product that is OnBackOrder
  4. Go to the section "Inventory", select the quantity that you want and then click on the icon "ADD+" (image below)
  5. CLICK "SAVE" to make sure the order gets re-process, you should see a confirmation message after you click "SAVE" (see image below)

4. Send stock to the warehouse 
  1. If you already sent your products to the warehouse, your Onbackorder orders will be reprocessed automatically once the products are booked in.
