How to create an FBA order

How to create an FBA order

This guide explains how to create an Amazon FBA order through the Seller Portal, send it to Bezos to be packed to Amazon’s requirements, and arrange collection.

How long does it take?

Bezos aims to have your order packed and ready for collection within 2–3 business days. To stay within this timeframe:

  • Orders under 5 cartons — upload before 12:00 (noon) and your order will be ready the next business day.

  • Orders of 5+ cartons — upload before 12:00 (noon) and your order will be ready within 2 business days.

  • Orders uploaded after 12:00 (noon) start counting from the next business day.

Step 1 - Create the order in the Seller Portal

  1. Log into the Seller Portal.

  2. Create a manual order.

  3. Name the order using this format: [Your 3-letter code]-FBA-[your internal reference].

  • Example: if your 3-letter code is BEZ and your internal reference is ABC123, name the order BEZ-FBA-ABC123.

  1. For the courier, select “Customer Arranging Collection”.

  2. Do not include any packaging SKUs in the order.

  3. In the Packing Notes field, add:

  • Amazon FBA Order

  • Cartons to be picked: [number]

  • Carton & shipping labels to follow

  1. Upload before 12:00 (noon) to stay within the SLA.

Then email support@bezos.ai to make us aware of the FBA order, quoting the order number (e.g. BEZ-FBA-ABC123).

  • The Bezos team will get the order packed according to Amazon’s requirements.

  • The Bezos team will then confirm the configuration of the order e.g. number of cartons and contents.

Step 2 - Seller to finalise the order

  1. Once you receive the configuration, reply to the email with your Amazon FBA labels.

  • Labels must be sent 2 per page. The carton label and the shipping/UPS label on the same page. You can set this in Amazon Seller Central. Sending labels in the wrong format will delay your order.

  1. Include your intended collection date.

  2. The warehouse team will attach the labels and put the order ready for collection.

  3. Arrange collection with your carrier (in the UK this is usually UPS).

⚠ Important

Please do not schedule a collection until it has been confirmed as ready by the Bezos Support Team.
